Anthony Davis grew up on the South Side of Chicago and stayed there until he signed with Kentucky out of high school.
Naturally, that means Davis and the Chicago Bulls have been linked to one another throughout his career. There has never been a realistic situation where Davis could play for the Bulls, however.
Chicago wasn’t in the draft lottery in 2012, when Davis went with the No. 1 overall pick. Then, the Bulls didn’t have the assets last year to put together a worthy package for Davis if they wanted to do so.


“I mean, (this is) definitely hometown. If the opportunity ever presents itself and when that time comes, I’d definitely consider it.”
And Davis made it clear: "If we don't win the title in 2022, I could see myself ending and playing in Chicago."


Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis has been everything and more since he entered the league and it would take a massive amount of assets to get the big man out of the city of angels.
